Fare for 1st Kilometer = Rs 15

Fare for the rest of distance = Rs 8 x remaining Distance 
                                             = Rs 8 ( x-1 )
:. Total fare = Fare of first kilometer + Fare of Rest (x-1)km
 y = 15 + ( x-1 )8
 y = 15 + 8x - 8
 y = 8x + 7  

if She travelled 67 km
fare will be = y
y = 15 + ( 67 - 1 )8
y = 15 + ( 66 )8
y = 15 + 528
y = 543
