HEYA! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:

Given,

The equations have unique solutions.

If the equation has unique solution the comparison of ratios will be:

a1/a2 is not equal to b1/b2

1) 2x+3y-5=0

kx-6y-8=0

In the above equations:

a1 = 2 ; a2 = k ; b1 = 3 ; b2 = -6

a1/a2 is not equal to b1/b2

2/k is not equal to 3/-6

{Cross Multiple}

2*-6 = 3*k

-12 = 3k

k = -12/3

k = -4

2) 2x+ky=1

5x-7y=5

In the above equations:

a1 = 2 ; a2 = 5 ; b1 = k ; b2 = -7

a1/a2 is not equal to b1/b2

2/5 is not equal to k/-7

{Cross multiple}

2*-7 = k*5

-14 = 5k

k = 5/-14

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU BUDDY✌️
