- Here D is a metal with valency 2 , since in its outermost orbit it has two electrons.
- B is a non metal with valency 3 .
- E has bigger atomic radius than B. . In a period table the atomic radius increases down the group.
- C and F both belong to noble gases. They have 8 electrons in their valence shell , except for Helium which has 2 electrons , and thus completing their octet and duplet.
- The valency of C is 0 , means it does not react with any other element. Since it has already completed its octet . In group 18 all elements are noble gases.
