sum of their present age= 31
let the age of raju be x +3
and the age of ram =4x+3
ATQ,
=> x+3 +4x+3= 31
=> 5x + 6= 31
=> 5x = 31-6
=> 5x= 25
=> x = 5
hence, present age of raju = 5+3= 8yrs
and present age of ram = 4×3+3= 15 yrs.
