Explanation: clayey soil is used for cultivating because it has the capacity

to hold the water and it is a mixture of sand and clay. hence it is used for growing paddy as water gets logged in it.

2.sandy soil has many pore spaces hence it is light. it is well aerated because it does not has the capacity to hold water. as the water holding capacity is low so it remains dry
