x² + 25 - 10x - (x² + 4 + 4x) = -2

x² + 25 - 10x - x² + 4 + 4x = -2

29 - 6x = -2

29 + 2 = 6x

31 = 6x

X = 31/6

X = 5.166

Question -

(x-5)² - (x+2)² = -2

Answer ==>

By using the identity of

(a-b)² and (a+b)²

we know that,

(a-b)² = + - 2ab

and

(a+b)² = + + 2ab

we solve this question,

Now,

According to question -

(x-5)² - (x+2)² = -2

+ 25 - 10x - ( + 4 + 4x) = -2

+ 25 - 10x - - 4 - 4x = -2

21 - 14x = -2

21 + 2 = 14x

23 = 14x

X = 23/14

Hence,

X = 23/14
