Step-by-step explanation:

let the total no. of votes be x

then he got 0.43x votes,

second candidate got 0.57x votes

now, it means second candidate got 4900 more votes than him candidate,

=

0.43x +4900= 0.57x

(0.57-0.43)x= 4900

0.14x=4900

x= 4900/0.14

x= total vote polled= 35000

mark it as brainliest..I helped you man.
