Answer:

  • F₁ = 8 N towards right
  • F₂ = 10 N towards right
  • F₃ = 12 N towards left

Force F₁ and F₂ are acting in same direction. Therefore, total force in right direction will be sum of the both force.

\implies F_{(right)} = F_{ 1 } + F_{ 2 }

\implies F_{(right)} = 8 + 10

\implies \bf F_{(right)} = 18 \: N

Therefore, total force acting in the right direction is 18 N and also we know that force of 12 N is acting towards left side. By observtion we conclude that 18 N > 12 N. Hence, net force acting on the block is :

\implies F_{(net)} = F_{ right}  - F_{ 3}

\implies F_{(net)} = 18 - 12

\implies\pink{ \underline{ \boxed{  \bf \orange{F_{(net)} = 6 \: N \:  \:  \red{(towards \:  right)}}}}}
