Distance travelled = 120 km

1st = 30 km with speed 30km/h

Time taken = Distance /Speed = 30/30 = 1hr

2nd Distance = 90 km

Let its time taken by train to cover is x

av. \: speed \:  =  \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time \: }

60km {h}^{ - 1} =  \frac{120}{1 \:  +  \: x}

60 + 60x = 120

60x = 60

time taken is 1 hr
