let's take the first two resistance 6 ohm & 12ohm..... equivalent resistance of these two is 6+12÷6×12=1/4
then, the 4ohm resistance is in same class with 1/4 ohm (the equivalent resistance) net resistance will be 4+1/4=17/4ohm
okay now take those two resistance which r in the bottom 3 ohm & 5ohm net/equivalent resistance 3+5=8 ohm
we have got now two net/equivalent resistances which r parallel with one another..
net resistance between 8 ohm & 17/4 ohm ,
8+17/4 ÷ 8×17/4=49/136ohm
