Answer:

If alpha and beta are the roots of the equation then

sum of the roots  = -b/a = 1

alpha + beta = 1

Product of roots = c/a = -1

alpha x beta = -1

(1+alpha)/(1-alpha) + (1+beta)/(1-beta)

= [(1+alpha)(1-beta)+(1+beta)(1-alpha)]/(1-alpha)(1-beta)

= [1+alpha-beta-(alpha)(beta)+1-alpha+beta-(alpha)(beta)]/[1-alpha-beta+(alpha)(beta)]

=[2-2(alpha)(beta)]/[1-(alpha+beta)+(alpha)(beta)]

= [2-2(-1)]/[1-1+(-1)]

= -4
