Answer:

when a light rays falls on a mirror which is reflected away in the front of the mirror or backside of the image will form on a surface. when the light rays of an object is reflected in the front of the mirror then the image form will be a real image and when the image is formed behind the mirror then it is a virtual image.

plane mirror forms virtual , erect image of same size. convex mirror always forms virtual images of very small size. concave mirror forms real image when placed upto principle focus the size of the image increase from small to large with change in position and forms virtual image when places between principle focus and pole of the mirror which is bigger in size.

Answer:

the image which cannot be caught on a screen is called virtual image and which can be caught on screen is called real image real images are formed by a convergent beam of light rays and virtual images are formed by a divergent beam of light rays...

  1. the image formed by a plane mirror is virtual in nature and always erect but literally inverted and same in size as that of object......
  2. the image formed by convex mirror is always erect virtual in nature but smaller in size than that of object......
  3. the image formed by concave mirror is either real or virtual and it may be inverted or erect depending on the position of object in front of it.....
