Hey!!!

Given:

V=12V

Re=Rp₁+Rp₂

1∕Rp₁=1∕R₁+1/R₂+1/R₃

1/Rp₂=1/R₄+1/R₅

1/Rp₂=1/10+1/40

=(4+1)/40=5/40=1/8

Thus, Rp₂=8 Ohms

Now, 1/Rp₁=1/30+1/20+1/60

=(2+3+1)/60=6/60=1/10

Thus, Rp₁=10 Ohms

Therefore, Re= 8+10=18 Ohms

Now, as V=IR (Ohm's law)

=>I=V/R

Thus, I=12/18=2/3=0.667 Amperes.

Therefore, a current of 0.67A flows through the given circuit.

I hope it helps you ^_^
