  1. There is a sudden decreasing in the ionisation energy from He to Li, because 'He' is noble gas and 'Li' is electropositive element.
  2. Noble gas elements have highest I.P.E values , they cannot lose electrons, easily due to more stable configuration.
  3. Na and K have less I.P.E values because thay have only 1 and 2 electrons in valency respectively and they easily lose these electrons to get stability.
  4. I.P.E values are not followed a particular trend while going from left to right in the periodic table.
