The population of the world is increasing rapidly. As the population increases, then the demands of the people also get higher. They demand for more and more better as time passes.

There was a time where people were keenly dependent on trees, forests, other animals, and the whole environment. The dependence is still on, but has turned into a need of greed. It is being exploited so hard, that the people cant realise that they are destroying their own habitat.

People destroyed the forests, cut trees to establish industries. These industries are not preventing their pollutant releasing through the mediums of air and water. Air pollution, water pollution and noise pollution are silent killers. These will slowly corrode the environment and the nature will again take a millions of years to regenerate. We also know that, the products that are manufactured in industries are also polluting. Like automobiles, etc.

The Industrial Revolution impacted the environment. The world saw a major increase in population, which, along with an increase in living standards, led to the depletion of natural resources. The use of chemicals and fuel in factories resulted in increased air and water pollution and an increased use of fossil fuels.

The chemical fertilisers and pesticides used in farming produced by industries too pollute the environment. They make the soil erode, as a result, the probability of occurrence of floods is more.

The only thing we must keep in mind and do our activities is, "GO GREEN".
