We know that 3 years ago population was 50000 it increased three years at the 4% 5% 4%. So So the population in first year will be
50000+4/100×50000=50000+2000=52000
Next year it increase by 5% so population will be 105%(100%+5%) of 52000=54600
Then again there was a increase of 4% so the population of last year will be 104% of 54600=56784
