Concept: This question is from Rational numbers. Rational numbers are in the form of  \frac{p}{q} and q\neq 0, here we have to find the product of given numbers.

Given: Product of two rational numbers= -\frac{35}{18}

If one of the numbers is  \frac{5}{12}

To find: another number

Solution:

Let's assume a & b are two rational numbers,

According to the statement of the question

Product of them= a × b

⇒                 -\frac{35}{18} = a*\frac{5}{12}

⇒                 -\frac{7}{3}=a*\frac{1}{2}

⇒                  a= - \frac{14}{3}

Hence the other rational number (-\frac{14}{3})
