hello there...

here is ur answer......

so now, the measurements of the original rectangle are

lenght - 125
breadth - 60

there is a path which is 4 meters surrounding the original rectangle

so the measurements of the rectangle including the original rectangle and the path will be.

lenght - 125+4+4 ( as the 4 m path lays on both sides of the rectangle)
breadth - 60+4+4 ( same reason)

so the measurements are..

lenght- 133
breadth- 68

so let's find the area now,

to find the are of the path...

we need to subtract the area of the original rectangle from the total rectangle.

so ,

133 \times 68 - 125 \times 60

this is the area of the path....

9044 - 7500

which is

1544 {m}^{2}

this is the area.

the cost of 1m^2 is
120 rupees.

so...we have to multiply

1544 \times 120
which is the total cost

the total cost would be

rupees

185280

hope this helps!
