2) H^2=B^2 +P^2
(BC)^2 = (AB)^2+(AC)^2
=3^2+4^2
= 9+16
=25
BC= √25
= 5

Using pythagoras theorem, we can find that bc is equal to 5cm.
Area of triangle abc=1/2*b*h
Area =1/2*3*4
Area =6cm square.
Area is also equal to bc.ad/2
6=5.ad/2
12=5ad
Ad=12/5cm.
