GIVEN:
EACH CUBES ARE OF SIDES 4 CM.

NOW:
WHEN WE JOIN THE CUBES TO FORM CUBOID THEN,
L= (3+3+3)CM=9 CM [CUBES ARE JOINED]
B=3 CM
H=3 CM

T.S.A= 2(LB+BH+LH)
=2(9*3 +3*3+9*3)
=2(27+9+27)
=2*63
=126 SQ. CM

IF IT HELPFUL THEN PLEASE BRAINLIEST THE ANSWER.

Hlo friend... Cutiepie Here..

Question – Three solid cubes of side 4 centimetre each are joined to form a cuboid, then find its surface area.

Here is ur answer :

Side of each cube is 4 cm

For new figure formed by joining these three cubes is cuboid.

Length l of cuboid = 4+4+4 = 12 cm

Breadth b of cuboid = 4 cm

Height h of cuboid = 4 cm

_______________________

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2 h ( l + b)

= 2 * 4 ( 12 + 4)

= 8 ( 16 )

= 128 cm²

_________________________________

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

= 2 ( 12 * 4 + 4 * 4 + 4* 12)

= 2 ( 48 + 16 + 48 )

= 2 ( 112)

= 224 cm²
