x²+2x-35

x²+7x-5x-35

=x(x+7)-5(x+7)

=(x+7)(x-5)

(x+7)=0
x=-7

(x-5)=0
x=5

So,alpha=-7=€
& beta=5=¥

For second equation,
the roots are
1/€=1/-7

1/¥=1/5

sum of roots=1/€+1/¥
=-1/7+1/5
=(-5+7)/35
=2/35

Product of roots=1/€×/¥
=-1/7×1/5
=-1/35

now,

For forming the quadratic equation we have formula
=>x²-(sum of roots)x+(product of roots)

so,putting value here,

=>x²-(2/35)x+(-1/35)

=>35x²-2x-1

is the required quadratic equation.
