Conservation of linear momentum states that momentum before collision is equal to momentum after collision.

mathematical statement:

m¹u¹ + m²u² = m¹v¹ + m²v²

(here exponents are subscripts)

sum of all forces = mass of object × acceleration

(Let acceleration be a)

=>45N - 20N = 5kg × a

=>25N = 5 × a

=>a = 25/5 = 5m/s²

As greater force is towards right, hence acceleration is also to the right.
