\large\star\boxed{\sf{\green{GIVEN:-}}}

x + 4  \\ \: is \: the \: factor \: of \: polymonial \:   \\ {x}^{2}  + 3x + m

\large\star\boxed{\sf{\green{SOLUTION:-}}}

x + 4

SO,

x =  - 4

AS X+4 IS THE FACTOR OF THE POLYNOMIAL

So,

 {( - 4)}^{2} + 3 \times( -  4 ) + m = 0

8   + ( - 12) + m = 0

8 - 12 + m = 0

 - 4 + m = 0

therefore \: m = 4

SO YOUR ANSWER WILL BE (i)

4
