To find:-

The value of x in \sqrt{1 + \frac{25}{144}} = 1 + \frac{x}{12} .

Solution:-

Here, \sqrt{1 + \frac{25}{144}} = 1 + \frac{x}{12}

We know that square root of 1 is always 1.

     ⇒ 1 + \frac{5}{12} = 1 + \frac{x}{12}

The Square root of 25 is 5 and square root of 144 is 12.

So, By comparing both side we get,

x = 5, because 1 is common \frac{x}{12} is common.

Option (c) is correct, x = 5.
