No. the lines are not parallel because if they would be parallel then angleC (104°) must be equal to angle B(84°) because of alternetive pairs of angles.

Also angle D =104° because of vertically opposite angles and it must be a corresponding angle with angle B(84°)

So AB is not parallel to CD.

Let , we assume that the line intersecting AB and CD, Is XY,

Then,

We have give that

Angle BXY =88° and

XYC =104°.

Then if line AB and CD are still parallel then..,

Angle BXY and angle XYC are same angle but here there is no same

BXY # XYC .

So we can say thet line AB & CD are not parallel lines.
