Given:-

  • h + r = 37 m.
  • TSA is 1628 m²

To find:-

  • Volume of the cylinder

Solution:-

We know that

TSA = 2πr(r+h)

So,

→ 1628 = 2πr(37)

→ r= \frac{1628}{2π×37}

→ r = \frac{18.4}{2π×37}

r =7

As we know that r+h=37

So, 7+h=37

→ h=37-7

h=30

Formula for volume of cylinder is

V=πr²h

→ V=13.14×7×7×30

→ V=13.14×49×30

→ V= 4615.8cm³

∴The volume of the cylinder is 4615.8cm³
