In ΔPQR and ΔXYZ ;

∠Q = ∠Y = 90° ( right angles )

PQ = XY = 7 cm

∠P = ∠X = 35°

∴ ΔPQR ≅ ΔXYZ by ASA criterion as 2 angles and the included side of one triangle is equal to the 2 angles and the included side of the other triangle.

(note: even though is is a right angled triangle, is is not congruent in terms of the RHS criterion as in RHS a right angle, hypotenuse and a side should be equal to the hypotenuse, right angle and side of the other. In this case the hypotenuse measure is not given so it is ASA.)

ASA - angle - side - angle

RHS - right angle - hypotenuse - side
