Commutative property:

2/3 + 5/6 + -2/3 = -2/3 + 5/6 + 2/3

2/3 + 5/6

= LCM of 3 and 6 are 6 so keep 5/6 the same.

2/3 * 2= 4/6

4/6+5/6= 9/6

As we simplify we get 3/2 + -2/3

LCM is 6

3/2 * 3= 9/6

-2/3 * 2= -4/6

9/6+ - 4/6 = 5/6

-2/3+ 5/6

LCM= 6

-2/3* 2 = -4/6

-4/6+ 5/6= 1/6

1/6 * 2/3

LCM= 6

2/3 * 2 = 4/6

4/6+ 1/6= 5/6

Thus verified for addition in commutativity ..

Multiplication ( commutative )

2/3 * 5/6 * -2/3 = -2/3*5/6* 2/3

2/3* 5/6 = 10/ 18

As we simplify we get 5/9

5/9* -2/3 = -10/27

2/3 * 5/6

10/18

As we simplify it we get 5/9

5/9 * -2/3 = -10/27

Thus verified for multiplication in commutativity

Addition ( associativity )

2/3 + ( 5/6 + [ -2/3] ) =( 2/3+ 5/6 ) + -2/3

LCM of 6 and 3 = 6

-2/3 * 2 = -4/6

5/6 + (-4/6) = 1/6 + 2/3

LCM = 6

2/3 * 2 = 4/ 6

4/6 + 1/6 = 5/6

2/3 + 5/6

LCM = 6

2/3 * 2 = 4/6

4/6 + 5/6 = 9/6

As we simplify we get 3/2

3/2 + (-2/3) = LCM = 6

3/2 * 3 = 9/6

-2/3 * 2 = -4/6

9/6 + -4/6 = 5/6

Thus verified for addition in associativity

Multiplication

2/3 * (5/6 * -2/3) =( 2/3* 5/6) * -2/3

5/6* -2/3 = -10/18

as we simplify we get -5/9

-5/9 * 2/3 = -10/27

2/3 * 5/6 = 10/18

As we simplify we get 5/9

5/9 * -2/3 = -10/18

As we simplify we get -5/9

Thus verified for multiplication in associativity
