You can easily prove that triangle(ABC) is similar to triangle(ADE). So by corresponding parts of similar triangles we get,
AD/AB = AE/AC. (AB = AD + DB)
=> x/x + (x-2) = x+2 / x+2+(x-1)
=> x/ 2x -2 = x+2 / 2x +1
Cross multiply
x(2x+1) = (x+2)(2x-2)
=> 2 x^2 + x = 2 x^2 -2x + 4x -4
=> x = 4
Similarly you can try other parts
