Answer:
if r is the distance between Q and -2Q,
electric field due to -2Q at the location of Q.
i.e. E = ke -(2Q)/r² = -2ke Q/r² ← (eqⁿ 1)
electric field due to Q at the location of -2Q.
i.e, E = ke Q/r² ← ( eqⁿ 2)
Thus from (eqⁿ 1 ) and (eqⁿ 2), E` = -E/2
hope this explanation and answer helps you dear....take care and give me multiple thanks.
