Let the triangle be ∆ABC

In ∆ABC,

<CAB = y°

<ABC = 90° (Right angle)

<BCA = 70° (Given)

Sum of all the angles of a triangle = 180°

So, <CAB + <ABC + <BCA = 180°

y + 90° + 70° = 180°

y + 160° = 180°

y = 180° - 160°

y = 20°
