multiplyplying (i) with b and (ii) with with a

we get

a^2x-bay=a(a^2-b^2)

adding the above two we get

(b^2+a^2)x=2a^2b+a(a^2-b^2)

(b^2+a^2)x=ab^2+a^3

x=a(b^2+a^2)/b^2+a^2

so x=a

by using a

a/a+y/b+2

y/b=1

y=b
