As by the definition of of pressure we know pressure is the force per unit are
So here force f= mg
2*9. 8 N
area of base = (side)^2
2*2= 4 cm2
=0.04m2
pressure P= f/a
2* 9. 8/0.04
490 N/m2

Answer:

Length of each side = 2 cm = 0.02 m

Its area = 0.02×0.02 = 0.0004

Mass of the object = 2kg . Acceleration

due to gravity = 10m/s sq

Therefore , its force on the ground =m×a

2kg × 10m/s sq = 20N

Pressure exerted by the block on the ground =

force/area = 20/0.0004 = 50000 pascal
