LET AGE OF THE FATHER BE X
AGE OF HIS SON BE Y

THEREFORE ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION,
X=Y^2
X+5Y=66
BY SUBSTITUTING X=Y^2,
Y^2+5Y=66
Y^2+5Y-66=0
Y^2+11Y-6Y-66=0
Y(Y+11)-6(Y+11)
(Y-6)(Y+11)
Y=6,-11
SINCE - 11 IS NOT POSSIBLE THE AGE OF SON HIS 6

BY SUBSTITUTING Y=6 IN Y^2=X
WE GET X=36
THEREFORE FATHER'S AGE IS 36 AND SON'S AGE IS 6!
