Suppose the cost of 1 article be x.
So the cost of 10 articles=10x
Again cost of 9 article=9x
So profit=10x-9x=x
Now ℅ profit=x/9x×100=100/9=11 1/9℅

Cost of one article = a

Cost of 10articles = 10a = SP of 9 articles

SP of one article = 10a/9

profit = 10a/9 - a = (10a - 9a)/9 = a/9

profit percentage = (a/9)/a  x  100 = 11.11%
