Circumference of circle = 2πr cm.

Radius = 8√2 /π cm.

2πr = 2 π (8√2 /π) = 16√2 cm.

Perimeter of square and circumference of circle are one and the same.

Hence, perimeter of square= 16√2 cm.

Side of the square= perimeter/4= 16√2/4

Side = 4√2 cm.

Area of the square is side x side sq. Units.

Area of the square= 4√2 x 4√2

= 32 sq.cm.
