the industrial complexes refers to a set of specific industries, which have important production, marketing and interrelationships between them. these complexes are localized geographically and are strengthen by their togetherness and innovations.

in the industrial complexes, the localized industries do significant purchases from each other and hence minimize the cost of transportation and assuring quality with immediate feedbacks.

in india, there are several industrial complexes, which have been developed in all minor and major industrial regions such as petro chemical complexes, iron and steel complexes in locality of iron and steel plants in the country and so on.
