In triangle BAD & CAE,

As AD=AE____(1)
therefore..angle ABD = angle ACE____(2) [angle opposite to congruent sides are congruent]
angle BAD = angle CAE. [Data]

therefore, triangle BAD ~ triangle CAE
(AAS rule)

therefore. AB = AC____(CPCT)
Thus triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle

in triangleBAD and triangleEAC

Angle BAD is equals to angleEAC

hence side facing to equal angles are equal

hence BD= EC

now in triangleBAD and triangle EAC

AD=AE (given)

Angle BAD = angleEAC(given)

BD=EC(proved)


hence triangle BAD is congruent to triangle EAC by SAS rule

angle A B D equal to angle ACD (cpct)

now in triangle ABC


angle A B D =angle ACD
hence it isosceles triangle

hence proved
