first we have the length and breadth of the rectangular hall
6m , 12m
area...
l x b
6 x 12 = 72 m^2
now that the tiles have the side of sqare in cm we have to change the area in meter to cm
=72 x 100 x 100 ( square meter to sq cm)
720000
tiles of side 30 cm........ square
s x s
30 x 30
900 cm sq
the hall can fit 720000 ÷ 900
thus u can fit 800 tiles of side 30 cm
if it were 15 it is
15 x 15
225 cm sq
720000÷225
3200 tiles can be fit
