Dear Friend,

Hereby begins the featured answer presentation step by step,

From the graph given in the question,

We understand that q1 charge is above origin , so value of this charge is positive

We also understand that q2 charge is negative since it is below origin.

So,

q1=positive

q2=negative

We also observe in graph that q1 and q2 have the same X coordinates and Y coordinates of these both points have exactly opposite signs but same magnitude.

So |q1|=|q2|

and q1=-q2

Therefore since q1 is positive it has greater value compared to q2.

Hope this answer helped you...

# LEARN SIMPLE BUT SIGNIFICANT

rawal16: how q1 and q2 have same x and y coordinate
SreeHarshaPS: by assuming so we can prove
SreeHarshaPS: if not this problem cannot be solved by long procedure
SreeHarshaPS: also q1 is positive so it is always greater than q2
SreeHarshaPS: thanks
rawal16: can you do long procedue
rawal16: *procedure
SreeHarshaPS: this is itself long procedure
SreeHarshaPS: i have explained clearly in words
