1st case:

u= 0
v= 54km/h
= 54*1000/60*60 m/s
= 15 m/s
t = 10 s

a = v-u / t
= 15/10
= 1.5 m/s^2

Since S1 = ut + 1/2 at^2

= 0*10 + 1/2×1.5 * 10^2

= 1/2 * 15/10 * 100

= 75 m.

2nd case:

u= 15m/s

v = 0

a = -2.5 m/s^2
t = 6s

S2 = ut + 1/2*at^2

= 15*6 + 1/2* -2.5*6^2

= 90 + 1/2*-25/10*36

= 90-45

= 45m.

Hence total distance = S1+S2

= 75m+45m

= 120m.

Either ur ans is wrong or ur question have some mistakes..
