we know that area of equilateral triangle is root3/4a^2

root3=1.732

1.732/4×10×10

=43.3cm^2

now area of another triangle is 1/2base×height

height^2=hypotenuse^2-base&2

h^2=64-100

h=6

now by applying formula 1/2base×height we get
1/2×10×6
=30cmsq
now 43.3-30
area of shaded region
13.3cmsq is the area of shaded region
