Given:

Air bubbles starts from bottom to top !

Radius is doubled ( 2 r) on reaching the surface from the bottom.

Bottom of lake = r metre

At the surface = 2r metre [ since it's doubled]

Temperature remains constant

¤ which means its an isothermal process !!

Condition for Isothermal process:

PV = Constant

P1 V1 = P2V2

Final pressure (P2)=1 atm.pressure(given)=10 m

Initial pressure (P1)=atm.pressure+ pressure of height ( surface)

P1 = (10+ h) metre.

Volume of sphere=4/3 π r^3

Initial volume ( V1)= 4/3 π r^3

Final volume (V2) =4/3π (2r)^3

= V2 = 8 V1

Then

P1V1 = P2V2

substitute the values

=> ( 10+ h)V1 = 10 * 8 v1

Hence the height becomes 70 metre

=> The answer is 70 m. hope this helps u!
