Freida takes 20 minutes to reach her school cycling at the constant speed of 18 km/h. How fast should she cycle if she wants to reach the school in 15 minutes?

GIVEN -:

Time = 20 minutes = 1/3 hours

Speed = 18 km/h

Distance = ?

Distance = Speed × Time

= 18 × 1/3

= 6 km

TO FIND -:

Speed = ?

GIVEN -:

Time = 15 minutes = 1/4 hours

Distance = 6 km

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

= 6 ÷ 1/4

= 6 × 4

= 24 km/h
