Given that :- A is half as efficient as C And B is twice as efficient as A.

Let the number of days taken by C to complete the work be a

Number of days taken by B to complete the work = a

Number of days taken by A to complete the work = 2a

A's one day work = 1/2a

B's one day work = 1/a

C's one day work = 1/a

( A + B + C)'s one day work = ( 1/2a + 1/a+1/a)

= ( 1 + 2+ 2)/ 2a

= 5/2a

Time taken by A, B and C to finish the work = 2a/5

=> 20 = 2a/5

=> 2a = 100

=> a = 50

B's one day work = 1/50

C's one day work = 1/50

( B + C)'s one day work = ( 1/50 + 1/50)

= ( 1 +1) /50

= 2/50

= 1/25

Time taken by B and C to finish the work = 25 days..

MERCURY1234: no
gaurav2013c: Ok
gaurav2013c: B is twice as efficient as A, it means A is half as efficient as B
MERCURY1234: ok
gaurav2013c: and A is half as efficient as C too, so both are same
MERCURY1234: ok
MERCURY1234: now i understood
MERCURY1234: thanks bro
