hey mate

here is your answer....

two 3ohm resistors are in parallel.(left side one whose shape is >)

Req=3/2 ohm

=1.5 ohm

similarly ,on right side also,two 3ohm resistors are in parallel.

Req=3/2 ohm

=1.5 ohm

Now,these two 1.5 ohm are in series,so

Req=1.5*2

=3 ohm

Now,3 ohm and 3 ohm are in parallel,

so,

Req=3/2 ohm

=1.5 ohm

Thus,net resistance (R)=1.5 ohm

so , power dissipated=V²/R

=(1.5)²/1.5 watt

=1.5 watt (answer)
