The boys would go up through a hole in the room where we stored non perishable food, water bottles, utensils, etc. for after school marching band activities. Then, they would sort of just walk around up there for a while.
It actually worked for a long time. They didn’t get caught. Until lunch one day, everything came crashing down, quite literally.
They had climbed up, per usual. They usually walk on the sort of rungs/separations in between the tile, as the tiles themselves have been known to fall even unprompted. However, today one of them misstepped.
