 Height \: of \:the \: vertical \:wall  = BC

 Length \:of \: the \:pole (AC) = 10 \: m

 Distance \: between \: foot \:of \:the \:pole \\to \: base \:of \:the \:wall = AB

 In \: \triangle ABC , \angle B = 90\degree

 Cos 60\degree = \frac{AB}{AC}

 \implies \frac{1}{2} = \frac{AB}{10}

 \implies \frac{10}{2} = AB

 \implies AB = 5 \:m

Therefore.,

 \red {Distance \: between \: foot \:of \:the}\\\red{ pole \:to \: base \:of \:the \:wall}\green { =5\:m}
