★Unicellular organisms are said to be primitive organisms. They differ from the multicellular organisms on the basis of cell structure, efficiency,division of labour,life processes etc.

★Multicellular organisms have specialized cells which perform different tasks in the body. This is called as Division of Labour,whereas in unicellular organisms only one cells performs all the body functions.

★The cell structure in unicellular organisms is primitive. They are mainly prokaryotes and lack important cell organelles. Multicellular organisms are eukaryotes.

★Multicellular organisms have evolved from pre existing single celled organisms
