So,

∠DAB = ∠ABE                     (Angles opposite to equal sides are equal)

And,

∠ADC + EDC =180°             (Linear Pair)

∠ABC + ∠ADC = 180°            (Sum of opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is 180° )

∴  ∠EDC = ∠ABC          

∴ ∠EDC = ∠EAB                   (∵ ∠EAB = ∠ABE​)

But ∠EDC and ∠EAB are corresponding angles.

So,

DC ║ AB                     (Hence proved).
